How's that for a title? I'm getting tired of making titles, I may just turn them off. Anyway, I got some new pictures of the hedgehog babies. As you can see from the picture with all the babies, the one is bright pink!
Oh, that is so adorable. I've never seen a baby hedgie before. So... cute...
Im going to the sale thing that you told me about this sunday. Im going to look fro Vikki or Jason, and try to stay away from the guy who gets them from texas like you told me.
Do you have any advice in picking out a quilled friend? Ive heard to hold them for awhile and see if they sniff around in your hand. I have also heard to check their fur for bald spots or anything unhealthy looking. Anything else?
One more thing. Since im new at this, do you mind me asking you questions?
Ryan- Don't feel weird asking me questions! That's what I'm here for. Even if you didn't buy a hedgehog from me, hehehehehe! Just kidding.
Anyway, Make sure that the 'hog you pick out has a good healthy coast of spines with no bald spots. Make sure there is no poop caked on the vent. Make sure all the paws, eyes, nose, etc look right.
Ears need to be MOSTLY intact. It's not a huge issue if a piece of the ear is missing. It's a common problem for a sibling to bite off a chunk of the ear while they're roughhousing, though I've never had that happen.
Be very sure to find out what food they are eating. Don't switch abrutly. Switch slowly over a period of 1 month.
Sorry I took so long to post, I just realized that you've probably already been to the show and have your new buddy already. I've been really laxo on checking my blogs. Let me know if you have any questions.
I like life to be crazy! I'm not so big on monotony. Besides being on fire for Christ, I like to do all kind's of other crazy things, including (but of course not limited to) : Caving, Rock Climbing, Road Biking, Basketball (21 Specifically), Blogging, Traveling, Maintaining Fish Tanks, Maintaining My Mini Zoo, Caving, Wearing Big Headphones, Taking Crazy Pictures, Hiking. I sweat profusely, and I speak a bit of Spanish. I will be taking a 3 month-long trip to Papua New Guinea in July 2009. OH YEAH!!! It's getting close!!!
